I write regularly for the company’s online employee publication, LLYNEWS, which is sent to more than 40,000 Lilly employees worldwide three times a week. Topics include Lilly’s business priorities and its people.

 

Ball State University
Ball State University is a state-assisted doctoral institution in Muncie, Indiana, about one hour northeast of Indianapolis. The residential campus is home to more than 20,000 undergraduate and graduate students from across the country and abroad. The university boasts nationally recognized academic programs, hands-on learning experiences, innovative technology, expert faculty, personal attention, and a supportive campus environment.  

 

I write short people features and content for the university’s web site and stories for the Miller College of Business magazine.

 

USA Funds
USA Funds® is a nonprofit corporation that works to enhance postsecondary-education preparedness, access and success by providing and supporting financial and other valued services. USA Funds guarantees education loans for students and parents throughout the nation. In addition, USA Funds serves as the designated guarantor of federal education loans in eight states: Arizona, Hawaii and the Pacific Islands, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Mississippi, Nevada and Wyoming.

 

I write stories for USA Funds' weekly Education Access Report and help manage an annual project completing copy for eight USA Funds Countdown to College™ publications inserted into local newspapers.

 

American Legion Auxiliary
The mission of the American Legion Auxiliary is to serve veterans, their families and their communities. The Auxiliary is headquartered in Indianapolis and has about 1 million members nationwide.

 

I have written articles for HomeFront magazine, a quarterly publication mailed to more than 740,000 American Legion Auxiliary members.

 

Community Health Network
Community Health Network is a leading not-for-profit health system in Central Indiana offering convenient access to expert physicians, advanced treatments and leading-edge technology. The network is comprised of five hospitals and more than 70 sites.

 

I have written for a variety of Community publications including INHealth magazine, which is sent to people living around the network’s five hospitals; Perspectives, the network’s employee newsletter and physician brochures. I also have developed content for a yearlong series of bereavement newsletters, named In Touch, sent to patients and families after they have experienced the loss of a loved one.

 

Indianapolis Power & Light (IPL)


Indianapolis Power & Light (IPL) provides retail electric service to approximately 465,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers in Indianapolis, Indiana and other central Indiana communities. 
 
I have written for Newsline, one of the company's newsletters, which goes to employees and retirees.

 

Lumina Foundation for Education
Lumina Foundation for Education, an Indianapolis-based, private, independent foundation, strives to help people achieve their potential by expanding access and success in education beyond high school.

 

I have written for the foundation's online newsletter, Student Access and Success News. I also have written copy for the foundation's web site and worked with one other writer chronicling the effectiveness of grant programs aimed at retaining students at 15 Indiana college campuses. The publication, Lumina Foundation Lessons, contains our findings.
